Dye Videos

FVCOM includes a tracer tracking module to simulate the injection of a Rhodamine dye at one or more point sources. The dyes in these videos are injected continuosly.

 1)  This model dye is injected near the bottom at the discharge pipe of the Freeport Waste Water Treatment Plant during May 13-18 2003.

 2)  This model dye is injected near the bottom at the discharge pipe of the Yarmouth Waste Water Treatment Plant during May 24-June 3, 2010

 3)  The model dye is injected near the bottom at the discharge pipe of the Portland Waste Water Treatment Plant  during May 6-10,  2010. 

 4) The model dye is injected near the surface at 9 separate locations, including some treatment plants, during May 5-18, 2018

 5) The model dye is injected near the bottom at 9 separate locations, including some treatment plants, a mussel farm, during Sept 5-15, 2018
